Management of documents and enhanced features on the Océ MFPs will now be easier with Océ PRISMAstart software, targeted at the SMB (small-to-medium-size-business) segment. Océ PRISMAstart software offers a foundation upon which users and administrators can build to improve their office workflow. The software introduction includes a series of software tools that can be utilized independently or in conjunction with each other to speed up information sharing and improve device usage control.

Administrator utilities
With a number of utilities that allow the administrator of Océ PRISMAstart software to control how information is shared and how it is used, this software becomes a building block for other Océ PRISMA® Office Family products. The ability to view transactional logs, keep a complete backup system and use watermarks to protect important documents gives administrators complete control over who views documents and when. Océ PRISMAstart software administrators also have the capability of viewing a webpage set up to allow remote configuration.
User and additional utilities
Océ PRISMAstart software users can use the direct print function to send PDF and TIFF files directly to a printer, notify job completions and manage their own files through a user box installed on their MFP. Additional utilities include the driver package utility, NDPS® Gateway, enterprise management system plug-ins and device management applications.
Océ PRISMAenterpriseTM Device Manager
Océ PRISMAstart software is a prelude to other Océ PRISMA Office Family products. As part of the Océ PRISMAstart release, included is a foundation utility program called Océ PRISMAenterprise Device Manager. This utility allows for the fast and flexible status monitoring via an Internet browser of MFP activity and administrative management controls on the client’s network. Device Manager is a foundation product for Océ PRISMAenterprise Suite, which will be available soon offer authentication, user panel management and account tracking. Océ PRISMAenterprise Device Manager is a free down load and other Océ PRISMAenterprise Suite modules can be purchased when released.
