Oce Business Services Introduces Oce MAX Advanced Document Performance Management System

NEW YORK (February 25, 2009) – Océ Business Services, a leader in document process management and electronic discovery, today introduced the Océ MAX™ Advanced document performance management system. This next-generation Internet application features advanced functionality and flexibility that enables clients to use information to reduce document management costs and improve operational efficiency.

Océ clients targeting continuous improvement in their document processes are leveraging the power of Océ MAX. The Océ manager for one client – a major telecommunications company – installed Océ MAX to monitor mail center performance. After noticing an increasing amount of overnight mail across nationwide locations, the manager engaged the Océ Best Practices team for a Six Sigma® project, including an analysis and recommendations. The project resulted in a new process that saved the client $500,000 in the first year.

Océ MAX Advanced applies Six Sigma tools and methodologies that enable Océ clients to measure, benchmark and continuously improve their outsourced document activities, such as print/copy and mail center management.

The new offering is designed for large organizations with multiple sites and services. Features include: near-real-time volume and performance reports; customizable, dynamic reports based on the client’s input; customizable dashboards including "stop light" performance management of metrics critical to the business; and, automated email alerts.

Océ Business Services also offers Océ MAX Standard, a web-based system that is available to organizations requiring basic performance reports and standardized metrics.
