New Release of EFI Hagen Packed with Features to Streamline Operations

drupa - Düsseldorf, Germany - June 3, 2008 - EFI (NASDAQ: EFII), the world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today announced the latest version of its powerful Hagen™ OA print management system will be available this month highlighted by workflow and mailing enhancements, tighter integration to other EFI solutions, and support for Microsoft® SQL Server. This new release will be on display at drupa 2008 through June 11 in EFI's booth (stand C01, Hall 5) as well as in the JDF Experience Parc (Innovation hall, Hall 7).

EFI Hagen OA is an MIS solution designed to effectively support technology-driven printing operations, from medium-sized commercial printers to multi-plant enterprises. Providing a robust and advanced accounting package with high-end applications for estimating, job management, scheduling, purchasing, inventory and fulfillment, Hagen OA allows print service providers to collect, share, analyze and respond to information in real-time.

Version 10.1 includes a new "Express Jobs" workflow enabling rapid order entry and processing. Designed for counter and fast-turnaround jobs, this enhancement includes special material posting and pre-invoice features. The upcoming version has support for Microsoft SQL, giving clients a new database option. It also includes mailing enhancements with new fields, tables and reports, along with improved postage accounting, tracking and reporting.

For high volume and publication printers, the release has tighter integration and improved workflow automation between Hagen and the EFI Prograph® planning solution and EFI PrintFlow® dynamic scheduling. These improvements allow the schedule to be optimized to the fullest extent.

In addition to these key features, Hagen OA 10.1 has enhancements requested by our international clients. These additions include a new job confirmation letter, payment term changes, and letter of quote 'price detail' functionality.

"As the management solution built to handle multi-company, multi-division, multi-language, multi-currency operations, Hagen OA has to continually adapt to meet the challenges print service providers face today," said Marc Olin, senior vice president/general manager, EFI Advanced Professional Print Software. "The upcoming version does just that, with key enhancements and new features aimed at providing greater efficiency for our customers worldwide."

"As a long-time Hagen user, we always look forward to the latest release. The new mailing enhancements in version 10.1 are the biggest benefit to our business, enabling us to better account for our postage costs. In particular we can now ensure these costs are correctly allocated to each job," said David Bennett, president of Bennett Graphics, a leading commercial printer in Atlanta.
